Friday, February 1st, 2019, Bonnie “Boo” Annette Turner (Brown) due to a short battle with cancer, went home to be with our savior at the age of 74. Boo was born on February 25th, 1944 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to Thomas and Helen (Walker) Brown.
Boo was preceded by her beloved husband of 41 years, Robert Lee Turner, Sr. siblings James “Jim” Brown (Wanda), Harold “Bub” Brown, Brenda “Bren” Johnson (Jerry), brother-in-law Frank Cox, her half-sisters: Beulah “Tootie” Freeman, Grace Melton and her great-granddaughter Adalyne Randall.
She was survived by her two children, her daughter Bonnie Randall (Rodney) and son Robert Turner, Jr. (Carrie). Her Grandchildren: Roseann “Rosie” Randall, Megan Hattabaugh (Travis), Noelle Turner, Shepard Turner and GreatGrandchildren: Lance Hattabaugh, LilyAnn Randall, Lukas Hattabaugh, Koda Hattabaugh, and Violet Randall. Bonnie was a part of a large family and had many loving siblings: Jim Brown’s Family, Mary Ruth Cox & Family, Bub Brown’s (Edith) Family, Bren Johnson’s Family, Nancy “Nance” Wilks (Gene) & Family, Dale Brown (Melissa) & Family, and Dean Brown (Elaine) & Family.
Boo was known for her kindness, love for all things outside and her great love and dedication to family. Boo enjoyed nature, being outside, puzzles, card games, reading and spending time with loved ones.
The Family of Boo would like to thank Missions Hospital-St. Joseph Campus’ Staff, especially Dr. Morelock, RNs Jessica & Cassie and Kim at Skyland Care Center. The Family would also like to thank the friendship of Betty Ann “Bet” Turner & Family, Lois Larson, Alice Higginbothem & Kaye.
